Kiss the Fae (Vicious Faeries #1) by Natalia Jaster

Updated: Aug 17, 2022

"Don't look down. Watch your step. Fear the wind. Follow the wind. Lose your path. Find your way..."
"Under the vicious stars, an Owl crossed paths with a Lark. And the Lark said, 'We may fly separately, but let our direction be the same."

The Lowdown

Lark was chased across the enchanted border by one evil only to be ensnared by another. Trespassing into the territory of Cerulean, the ruler of the sky, she strikes a deal. For thirteen days she must survive the mountainous labyrinth that is his land and reach the mountain top of her own accord. Catch, if she doesn't play the game, her sisters suffer. As she fights for her survival, secrets are discovered and hate gives way to love. Risking her heart and her sister's lives she has a choice to make.

Told from Lark's viewpoint, first person.

The Feels

You should never make deals with the fae...unless they are this hot!

I love reading books where you can feel what the character is actually feeling. The chick is bada*s. I can't wait to read the others, they recount Lark's sister's, Juniper's and Cove's, journeys as well. This book has got some steam so you might want to turn up your A/C.

Suggestions and the second book below! Make sure to check out the author.

One of my favorite quotes:

"I hate him. I hate him so much I want it written on my tombstone."
"I'm as open as a pair of thighs. I've got no secrets."
