The Lowdown
Katy and her mom moved to West Virginia for a new start after Katy's father died. Ketterman, a town so small you had to go over to next town to pick up your mail. The only thing she could look forward to was her review blog, Katy's Krazy Obsession, and then she saw her hot neighbor and things were looking up. And then he opens his mouth and all she can think is, stab-worthy! His sister, Dee, more than makes up for it though, sweet as a peach but as feisty as a lioness.
One day Katy is attacked by a stranger and Daemon freezes time to save her. He also may have marked her, making her look like the most decked-out, bedazzled Christmas tree you could see from the next town over. She finds out, dudes an alien! His sister is also an alien and they have a treasure trove of enemies out there that want to steal their abilities. Of course the only safe place to be, while glowing like a disco ball, is next Daemon. However if he keeps pushing Katy's buttons, the enemy might be closer than he thinks!
It's written from Katy's point of view, first person.
The Feels
I loved this book. Katy's a good girl with some fire! Plus who doesn't love a hot alien and a little steam (insert wiggling eyebrows)? A bit of a change up from the vampires, wolves, etc... This book will give you a tease that'll make you want more!
