The Lowdown
This book is about Emree and Davin. Emree just wants to get a job at Enderlin Castle and marry her boyfriend, Portlend, who is a soldier in the king's guard. Davin, the young king, just wants to be a good monarch and further develop his country with his bright ideas. Emree is hired on as the Promenade Director to help Davin find a wife and manage his not-so-amazing reputation. While spending so much time with Davin, Emree finds herself falling for the King, and unbeknownst to her, Davin had also fallen Emree.

The Feels
This book made me wish I was trained in chair weaponry! If you've never heard of it, it's a special skill of combat. I was really grabbed at the start of the book with their first encounter. The book was very enjoyable though I would've wished for a different ending. It's a wholesome innocent romance story.
